Friends of Filey Bay Initiative  2010/11 WINTER programme of Events

All Events are at the Evron Centre Conference Room, John Street, Filey, YO14 9DQ  and start at 7 pm EXCEPT                  Friday March 11th where the event will be held at the adjacent concert Hall.

Friends of Filey Bay Initiative is a voluntary organisation founded in 2006 to promote the educational work of the Filey Bay Initiative

Thursday November 25th Nature Tourism: A talk by Martin Batt Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. 7 p.m. at the Evron Centre Conference Room

Thursday December 16th The Spitals: Roman or Medieval? with Chris Robinson and Bob Briggs. 7 p.m. at the Evron Centre Conference Room

Thursday January 20th Filey at Work: Past and present by Catherine Welch with photographs from the Crimlisk Fisher Archive
at the Evron 7 p.m. Centre Conference Room followed by the the AGM
Thursday February 17th The Star Carr Archaeological Site: A talk by Nicky Milner. 7 p.m. at the Evron Centre Conference Room

Saturday February 19th Quiz Night with Catherine and Denis, teams of up to 6 at £4.00 per person.   7 p.m. at the Evron Centre Conference Room

Friday March 11th Early Aviation In Filey, A talk by Robert Blackburn , the grandson of one of Filey's aviation pioneers.   7 p.m. at the adjacent Filey Concert Hall, early attendance is recommended.

This promises to be a very interesting evening with a top-flight speaker.
